The Friends of the Monument of Courage, the Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 0900, the VFW Post 2466 and Caldwell Entertainment will present a one-hour Veterans Day special at 7 p.m. Wednesday on the Fox34 News Station.

The program will later air on Fox34 at 5 p.m. Nov. 29. The show will be hosted by James Eppler.

The program will also serve as another opportunity to dedicate Lubbock's recently unveiled Monument of Courage.

Richie McDonald, the lead singer of Lonestar and Lubbock native, will be the featured artist throughout the show, accompanied by the Caldwell Collective, according to a news release from Caldwell Entertainment.

Joining Richie are several West Texas standouts: Will Banister, Jeff McCreight, Russ Murphy, Avery Guyear and the Caldwell Kids. The show will feature an array of patriotic classics and new inspirational material, along with Richie's big hits like "Amazed," "I'm Already There" and "My Front Porch Looking In."
