The Boscawen NH Gold Star Families Memorial Project is excited to partner with the Hershel Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation (HWWMOHF) to bring the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument (GSFMM) to the memorial walkway at the State of NH Veterans Cemetery.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for April 23, 2017--10:30 - 12:30

Gold Star Sister Stephanie Ouellette and Laura Buono are the Honorary Board Members for the Gold Star Family Memorial Monument Project, Hershel Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation. Sue Peterson, Alan Ouellette and Donna Ouellette are committee members working on the project.

A Gold Star family is a wife, husband, mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, parent through adoption, foster parents who stand or stood in loco parentis, children, stepchildren, children through adoption, brothers, sisters, half brothers, half sisters, aunts, uncles, grandchildren and grandparents of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States that sacrificed their life for our way of life and the American flag under which they served. The Gold Star Family Memorial was created by Medal of Honor Recipient Hershel “Woody" Williams to remember those families who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
